The decision has been made to postpone the start time to 10 am for tomorrow's race. The race will proceed but at a delay.

Registration will begin at 9 am, with walk thru for the low impact course starting at 10 am. Registration for Buckaroo will close at 9:30 am.

Walk thru for the high impact course will begin at approximately 10:20 am.

Amateur, Open, and Classic registration will still close at noon.

This should allow for people to travel in the morning instead of tonight.

Please plan accordingly.

Our first race is less than a month away! We hope that with Spring coming everyone has had time to get those horses ready for competition!

The board has put together an opportunity for riders and potential judges to hear from some of your experienced judges at the clinic on April 9th. The Branham family is proudly hosting this event for the UHCA board and we want to thank them for that. There is a $10 fee but that includes dinner. Come out and be ready to learn what judges are looking for.

A few reminders as we get close to the first race:

1- Make sure you have your Coggins tests up to date. Eagle Ranch will check Coggins when you arrive as will many of our other hosts.

2- You can preregister online up until the Thursday night before each race. Save yourself time by preregistering and you can skip to the head of the line the morning of the race!

3- Memberships must be current as of race day for points to be tracked. You can renew online or send in a paper application before the first race. Please make sure to get those completed before or on April 16th!

What a beautiful day for a race in the Flint Hills! Thanks Rex Buchman and Strong City Rodeo Board for hosting a fun and challenging event last weekend. It sure was fun getting to do some cattle work. Between the Ranch Horse Competition, the Ranch Colt Challenge, the multiple ranch rodeos and the UHCA Challenge, it was a full weekend of non-stop action.
